The Department enjoys excellent industry-institute interface achieved through guest lecturers, industry exposure training, judging event during competitions, campus placements etc. the practical section covers training at well-equipped labs for Front Office, Food & Beverage Production, Bakery, Food & Beverage Service, Housekeeping and Computer Lab. Apart from the regular syllabus prescribed by the university, the students are given further exposure by conducting quiz on relevant subjects, role play, personality enrichment programs and special guest lectures by eminent personalities from the industry. The department has a competent faculty team with relevant industry and teaching experience as the course demands a committed practical approach.

Core subject experts from various groups such as Taj, Oberoi, Leela, Accor, ITC to name a few, address our students with various sessions. The placement record of BHM has always been 100 per cent. The BHM Satellite library sources students with around 5,000 books on core subjects and allied subjects with CSs/CD-ROMs, international journals and magazines. Potential placement of BHM graduates is one of our prime objectives with supplementary placement and the same is achieved by inviting brang image properties to our campus. Successful candidates can excel in MNCs, hospitality chains, travel and tourism organizations, shipping and cruise liners, airlines and as hotel consultants/entrepreneurs.
