About the Department

Department of commerce was established in the year 1971 which is the oldest department in the college. Since its inception it has been doing yeoman service by educating in   the field of trade and commerce. This approach has been truly influencing students to excel both academically and intellectually. In addition to this department also encourages students to develop profundity in trade and commerce which has helped them to explore their talent and potentiality in a greater extent. As a matter of fact this initiation has motivated students to develop their critical bend of mind to enhance and enrich their innate skills. Indeed this space and opportunity has guided them to use their presence of mind and knowledge effectively. To achieve this motto the department has MOU with academic bodies like ICAI, ICWA, ICSI and industry.

The department has produced good number of CAs, CWA, CS, Bank Officers and corporate executives.  Our students are also excelled in sports, NCC, NSS and cultural activities.

Eligibility criteria for admission:

  • Eligibility- 2nd PUC (state syllabus), 12th Standard (CBSE and ICSE) with minimum 35%
  • Documents required for admission:
  • Marks cards
  • Migration certificate and 10th 11th and 12th standard marks cards for outside state candidate
  • Transfer certificate
  • 3 passport size photos
    • Receipt and Scrutiny of applications
    • Display of short listed of candidates (list 1, 2 & 3)
    • Admission of eligible candidates
